Signing Up for JABA Is Now More Reliable

Dev Updates Mar 19, 2026 2 min read

Getting started with JABA should feel straightforward, and a few recent fixes make sure it does. Whether you’re joining the waitlist or opening the app for the first time, the experience is now more consistent and accurate.

Waitlist and Signup

We fixed an issue where users who weren’t on the JABA waitlist could be incorrectly recognized as existing members. That misidentification has been resolved, so your waitlist status now reflects reality. We also corrected how your first name is passed through during signup. The form asks for your first name, and now that’s exactly what gets used.

Analytics That Respect Your Privacy

We’ve added analytics to JABA to help us understand how the app is being used. This gives us a clearer picture of where things are working well and where we can improve. The data collected is used to make JABA better, and it does not involve reading your financial information. Your budget data stays yours.

Stability Across Platforms

We made a networking fix that improves how JABA communicates with our servers on certain platforms. This isn’t something you’ll notice directly, but it means fewer unexpected issues and a more consistent experience regardless of how you’re running the app.

These updates are part of making JABA a more dependable tool from the moment you sign up to the day-to-day work of managing your money.
